Shame, Shameless And Flirting

Shame {noun}

  1. A painful sensation excited by a consciousness of guilt, or of having done something which injures reputation
  2. The cause or reason of shame; that which brings reproach, and degrades a person in the estimation of others

Shame {verb}

  1. To make ashamed; to excite a consciousness of guilt or of doing something derogatory to reputation; to cause to blush.
  2. To disgrace.

What does shame mean to you?

and when I use the word mean, I am asking you what you hear?  Where does this take you to?  the moment when you defined it?

Shame on you….. Did you ever hear that directed at you? as a kid?  What did that teach you?

What if shame is just a judgment and keeps you from being totally you?

Shameless {adjective}

  1. Destitute of shame; impudent; brazen-faced; immodest; audacious; insensible to disgrace.
  2. Done without shame.

What does shameless mean to you?

Where does this take you to?  the moment when you defined it?

Have you ever heard the judgment in someone who was shameless as though they unable to recognize their wrong ways?

What if shameless was actually a capacity to live without judgment of right or wrong?

The definition of flirt is actually quite interesting….

Flirt {verb transitive}

  1. To throw with a jerk or sudden effort or exertion
  2. To toss or throw; to move suddenly

Flirt {noun}

  1. A sudden jerk; a quick throw or cast; a darting motion
  2. A young girl who moves hastily or frequently from place to place


Flirt {verb}

  1. behave as though attracted to or trying to attract someone, but for amusement rather than with serious intentions.
  2. (of a bird) wave or open and shut (its wings or tail) with a quick flicking motion

Flirt {noun}

  1. a person who habitually flirts.

What does flirt mean to you?

Where does this take you to?  the moment when you defined it?

Has flirting gotten you in trouble?  Have you shut it down for fear of what it means and brings to your life?

What if flirting is the invitation to receiving, like a wink of confirmation when you accept the world contributing to you?

Where are you defining anything that is cutting you off from you and what would it take to shift it and open the doors to receiving so much more?
